2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl Watchlist

The Reese’s Senior Bowl has long been the premier postseason college all-star game for the best draft-eligible NFL prospects. Senior Bowl Executive Director Jim Nagy and his team spend months pouring over the tape to identify the best draft prospects from all levels of college football. They’ve identified 720 prospects representing 148 schools across FBS, FCS, DII and DII for their 2024 Senior Bowl Watchlist and we’ve provided the complete list below. Here are a couple interesting tidbits we came across as we dug into the list:

Not surprisingly, 2 SEC teams are at the top of the list with the most prospects, but what is surprising is which teams those are. It’s not Alabama and LSU or Florida, it’s actually Ole Miss and Tennessee. Ole Miss leads the way with 20 players on the watchlist and Tennessee is right behind with 19. The SEC claims 5 of the top 10 spots, and that doesn’t even include The Crimson Tide who is 26th with 10 players on the list.

The Big Ten only has 1 team in the top 10 with Michigan coming in at #3 with 18 and Penn St is the next highest (#11) with 13 players on the list. Ohio St is right behind them at 12 and Illinois had 12 prospects make the list. Despite the relative lack of program success both Rutgers and Indiana placed 7 players on the list.

A couple other schools that caught our attention with the number of prospects:

TCU – 14

Miami – 12

Missouri – 11

UCF – 8

We have included a list of all the teams with 6 or more players on the watchlist and one of the teams that immediately jumps out at you is reigning FCS National Champion South Dakota St. The Jackrabbits have 6 players on the list, which is more than double some FBS and Power 5 schools.
