Two years ago, I put the Schedule Predictor up on Phil Steele Plus. I keep adding features to it each year. I talk about the Schedule Predictor on pages 42 and 43 of the magazine this year and it has had great success.

I have begun putting the information in the Schedule predictor and it now has 6 columns complete with preseason numbers. The last Met Last year Line and Met Last year score are complete. To see how this is calculated read the 3rd and 4th paragraphs on page 42.
The last time here is also updated. If the teams met at this site in the last 3 years the numbers are updated with the same line and score as happened the last time they played at this site.
On page 32 of the magazine are my Plus Minus Ratings. I have 9 sets of Power Ratings and the one that most closely resembles Vegas’s Power Ratings. There are a couple of Sportsbooks that have posted numbers on some marquee games and I have posted them on the Vegas Line column. You will notice the Vegas Line is very close to the Plus Minus ratings on these games. Therefore, if you are wondering what the line would be on any game this year check out the Plus Minus Power Rating line and you will have an idea of which team will be favored and by how much.
I have also added the FPI ratings with my home field edges. Most people assign a general 3 point home edge but as you know in the magazine I give home edges from 1.5 points up to 5.5 points depending on how the team performs at home. I added my home field edge to FPI’s ratings for every FBS vs FBS game for the season and have that listed as well.
Many teams are close to my Plus Minus Power Ratings but there are a number of teams that have a difference of over 5 points. Some teams that FPI has valued at 5 points or more less than my Plus Minus ratings are Illinois, Air Force, Arizona St, Navy, Army, Indiana and Iowa St.
Some teams that FPI has rated 5 points or more stronger than my Plus Minus ratings are Missouri State, Stanford, Tulsa, Oklahoma St and California.
During the week I will be adding my personal preseason line on every game for the upcoming year. I have looked at all 9 sets of my power ratings, the situation, matchups, angles, past matchups, revenge, etc.
Also in the next two weeks I will be adding Collin Wilson’s lines that he posts on Action Network for every game for the upcoming season and that will also include most of the FBS vs FCS games.
