We thought the College strength of wins/pain of losses was so interesting we decided to do one for the NFL and see the results. How it’s devised is if you beat an opponent you get credit for all their wins over their opponents. If you lose you get all their losses.

Strength of Wins

In this first chart below you can see Strength of Wins.  New Orleans still hold the #1 spot. The Saints have wins over Houston (6-3), Seattle (7-2), Dallas (5-3), Tampa Bay (2-6), Jacksonville (4-5), Chicago (3-5) and
Arizona (3-5-1) and those teams have a total of 30 wins.

Pain of Losses

This next chart we will go over is the Pain of Losses. Here if you lose to an opponent you get credit for all their losses. At the bottom of the list you can see there is only 1 team unbeaten San Francisco (8-0). At the top the NY Jets took over with 26 foe losses. The Jets have lost to Buffalo (6-2), Cleveland (2-6), New England twice (8-1), Philadelphia (5-4), Jacksonville (4-5) and Miami (1-7).

Overall Wins and Losses

In this last chart below you can see the overall wins and losses. San Francisco is at the top as they are undefeated. At the bottom you have your win less team Cincinnati.
