Using the Vegas win totals and just picking the teams with the most wins that are forecast here is Vegas’s picks for the top 12 of College Football this year. Georgia, Ohio State, Texas, Oregon, Notre Dame and Liberty all are at 10.5 wins and Liberty would be the top G5 team. Let’s lock in those 6. The Top ACC team is a three-way tie with Florida St, Clemson and Miami and one of those would automatically been in. The Big 12 has Kansas St and Utah tied for first so the winner of that game would be in. That leaves 4 spots. Battling for those 4 spots would be the two ACC teams that did not win, the loser of the Big 12 title game, Penn St, Michigan, Ole Miss 9.5, Alabama 9.5, LSU 9.5, Tennessee 9.5 and Missouri 9.5. It is possible that neither of the two teams that played in the title game last year (Michigan or Washington) make the playoff this year.
