We thought the College strength of wins/pain of losses was so interesting we decided to do one for the NFL and see the results. How it’s devised is if you beat an opponent you get credit for all their wins over their opponents. If you lose you get all their losses.

Strength of Wins

In this first chart below you can see Strength of Wins. Arizona has the #1 spot. Arizona has wins over Tennessee (5-2), Minnesota (3-3), Jacksonville (1-5), LA Rams (6-1), San Francisco (2-4), Cleveland (4-3) and Houston (1-6) and gives them a total of 22 Foe Wins.

Pain of Losses

This next chart we will go over is the Pain of Losses. Here if you lose to an opponent you get credit for all their losses. As you can see there is now only 1 unbeaten team Arizona. At the top you will see the NY Jets. They have foe losses vs Carolina (3-4), New England (3-4), Denver (3-4), Atlanta (3-3) and New England (3-4)  for a total of 19 foe losses.

Overall Wins and Losses

In this last chart below you can see the overall wins and losses. Arizona is a perfect 7-0. While the Rams are 6-1 their only loss came to an unbeaten Arizona team. At the bottom you have your 1 win less team Detroit.
