2020 Top 50 True Freshman WR’s and their Impact on the season.

We will continue on with the 2020 Top 50 true freshman today and talk about the wide receivers. Similar to the RB position, more true freshman had an impact this past year for their team. 32 (64%) of the Top 50 wide receivers contributed in the 2020 season.

One player hit over 700 yards, LSU’s PS#11 Kayshon Boutte (16.3 ypc) and 5 touchdowns. Next on the list is PS#27 Quentin Johnston of TCU 487 yards (22.1 ypc) and 2 touchdowns.  3rd PS# 9 Jermaine Burton of Georgia 27 rec for 404 yards (15.0 ypc) and 3 touchdowns.

The top yards per catch in this group with at least 10 or more receptions goes to Quentin Johnston of TCU with 22.1 ypc on 22 receptions. 2nd with 16.3 ypc on 45 receptions was Kayshon Boutte listed above from LSU.

Out of the Top 50, 14 players recorded at least 1 touchdown in 2020. The top 2 guys were listed above on the yards leaders Kayshon Boutte (5) & Jermaine Burton (3).

The Top 50 wide receivers from the 2020 class combined for 4,051 yards, 24 touchdowns and 13.2 yards per catch.
